Get the best of both worlds, peaceful surroundings and a vine-covered terrace combined with the excitement of Zagreb! This newly renovated apartment for 5 is in north-western Zagreb and makes the ideal base for friends or family who want to explore this exciting city.
The light-filled apartment is arranged around a central hallway, with all the rooms leading off this.
The open kitchen/diner is furnished with a table for 5 and the well-equipped kitchen is fitted with a cooker hob, oven, coffee machine and fridge/freezer. Outside there is a pretty terrace with vines where guests can enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The large master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a single bed, a wardrobe, a small sofa, a flat-screen TV and a desk. Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has a double bed, a flat-screen TV, a writing desk and a wardrobe. Bathroom: The bathroom has a full bath, basin, WC and a washing machine. The square is surrounded by some magnificent buildings from the late 19th Century onwards.
Ilica Avenue leads off the square and is Zagreb’s longest shopping street.
It is home to international and local brands as well as some good coffee shops. There is so much to see and do in the city.
From the stunning gothic cathedral and Tkalčićeva Street with its cafes in the Upper Town, to the quirky Museum of Broken Relationships.
For something a little different, head out of Zagreb to Medvedgrad Castle (15 minute drive). This medieval castle on the slopes of Medvednica mountain offers magnificent views of Zagreb. The city hosts many farmers’ markets where you can buy the best local produce to cook at home.
The largest, Dolac market is 40 minutes away, here you can find the widest range of fresh local produce.
Alternatively, Britanski Trg (British Square) is just 35 minutes from the apartment.
During the week it is the place to shop for groceries with the locals and on Sunday the square turns into an antique fair where visitors can pick up some interesting and cool antiques. Franjo Tudman International Airport in Zagreb, is a 35-minute drive away.

Two separate bedrooms with king beds it was a nice stay. It’s a bit far from old Zagreb but we knew that and had a rental car. The host was easy to connect with and gave excellent check in instructions. The apartment was clean and have most things we needed. Old fashioned stovetop expresso maker for coffee lovers but no American style brewer. Beds were comfy and free parking was a definite bonus.

Es ist eine wirklich sehr schöne Unterkunft und extrem Weiterzuempfehlen !! Man hat alles was man braucht, zudem ist die Unterkunft schön eingerichtet und man fühlt sich wie Zuhause! Der Parklatz ist sehr geräumig und direkt vor der Tür -zu beachten wäre das die Anreise mit dem Auto vom Vorteil ist....
