A peaceful apartment in the charming city of Zagreb.
This first-floor flat sleeps 4 people in comfort.
It is the ideal base to explore the city and then come home to a tranquil retreat at the end of an action-packed day. The light-filled living area, with windows overlooking the forested hillside, has a comfortable sofa, coffee table, flat-screen TV and a double bed. The modern fitted kitchen/diner has a breakfast bar with 4 stools.
The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and kettle.
A glass door from the kitchen opens onto a balcony with a table and chairs, for morning coffee, looking out over quiet woods. Sleeping: The airy living room has a double bed and a sofa that converts into a second double bed, plus there is a wardrobe. Bathroom: The bathroom has a shower, basin and WC. With the stunning gothic cathedral and Tkalčićeva Street with its cafes in the upper town, to the quirky Museum of Broken Relationships. The city hosts many farmers’ markets where you can buy the best local produce to cook at home.
The largest, Dolac market is just 30 minutes away.
Alternatively, Britanski Trg (British Square) is just 20 minutes from the apartment.
During the week it is the place to shop for groceries with the locals and on Sunday the square turns into an antique fair where visitors can pick up some interesting and cool antiques. Franjo Tudman International Airport in Zagreb, is a 40 minute drive away.

Apartment just as described. Clean and had equipment we needed. The journey from centre of Zagreb is not difficult. Tram to Cronomerec and then a short bus journey or a 15 minute walk. I had read an earlier report that there was a lot of noise from neighbours. We didn't hear any noise. Friendly welcome when we arrived.
