Welcome to Holiday House "Dunja," nestled in the picturesque village of Runović, just 10 km from the town of Imotski renowned for its stunning Red and Blue Lakes.
This charming house seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern comforts, making it an ideal retreat for your vacation. The ground floor of "dunja" showcases a unique combination of original, roughly 70-year-old stone architecture alongside contemporary furnishings and amenities.
The open-plan layout features a fully equipped modern kitchen, perfect for culinary adventures, adjoining a dining area and a cozy living room where you can unwind after a day of exploration.
The ground floor also hosts a bathroom equipped with a toilet, bidet, sink, and a convenient shower. Ascending to the renovated upper floor, you'll find three inviting bedrooms adorned with double beds and ample wardrobe space.
Two of these bedrooms open onto balconies, offering splendid views of the surrounding countryside.
Additionally, the upper floor boasts a second bathroom complete with a shower, toilet, bidet, sink, and a washing machine for your convenience. Steeped in history, the basement of the house once held a well with drinking water, which has since been repurposed into a cellar for storing local delicacies such as olive oil, prosciutto, and wine—reflecting the rich culinary traditions of the region. Surrounded by verdant trees, fruit orchards, fragrant Mediterranean plants, and lush grass, "dunja" provides a tranquil oasis in close harmony with nature.
